I made a video. Not anything to do with blindness, just having fun talking about the English language. Languages are great, and I love how they allow us to use them in really creative and varied ways. A group of people can speak the same language, but depending on where they are from, the way they use it could be completely different.
English is fantastic for this. Even within a very small country like England, we have very creative ways of saying the same thing, that differ from county to county. So I thought I would share with you some of the ways you can express your displeasure or irritation when a situation you are in starts to go wrong. You trip up a step, or knock over your cup of tea, and you want to shout about it. We have a whole selection of words and phrases you can choose from.
